At least it was announced rather than a release date surprise.

This would be great if the previous DLCs in the Season Pass were worth getting, but they aren’t. They’re essentially telling you, “Hey, pre-order The Following now for the higher price we’re going to set in the near future, and get some disappointing DLC we’ve put out in the past!” Whoa... in a way, it’s preorder DLC…
It’s funny how journalism works. Had the writer of this piece not injected his own judgments (“pretty classy move!”) and simply reported the facts (developer announces price hike in 2 weeks for DLC) all the comments would be about how greedy Techland is and how we should all boycott this DLC to take a stand. I don’t…
You don’t have to be a fan to hate greed.
“The Following expansion has grown significantly since its inception...” That’s not the consumer’s fault. This is why the AAA sector is shambles - no one controls costs. Make it bigger even if you can’t afford it, take it out on the consumer later.
I guess I’m missing where the “Classiest way possible” comes in to play here.
This applies to a lot of things in life BTW. If you want to change the rules, at least don’t do it in the back of the people who supported you.
