I don’t have high hopes for a non-Feige produced spider-man project. That said, my personal preference would be for the Garfield version of Peter to have a TV series in the Disney-plus…

I hope that Thomas can be impeached or resign due to health issues and public scorn regarding his wife’s screwy history (and screwy present). Replace him with another racial minority and female.

I hope that the film has a distinct villain besides the variant based calamities. We’ve seen that done with Loki, and in Spider-Man No Way Home. I want real villains, newer villains. Not just Stephen with darker clothes, dusky makeup and a worse hairdo.

at least the film is out now. people can see it or not see it. I’m sure it will have a good run on cable, DVD and streaming. If Sony had lost the rights to the Spider-Man franchise, I doubt that Morbius would have been on the priority list for films. Too bad that Sony proper doesn’t have folks in charge like a Kevin…
