We had tickets to see the Mariners and went out to drink before the game. Got to the game late, and when we entered the stadium in the bottom of the first, the Mariners were down 5-0. I guess this is a story about regretting being a Mariners fan. 

This is also a good time to look at our own lives and recognize that no matter how hard we are on ourselves, we contribute to the world in ways we can’t even know, and the world is better for having us in it.

One note to add - I didn’t see it here. When the Sonics drafted Durant there was definitely a feeling that this amazing young star would turn things around, that the team would have to take itself seriously (even as a 20-year-old I could see the BS that the team was pulling) and fans would come back.
