It’s understandable to be disappointed and angry at having to cancel a big, expensive event, but honestly, it’s not February. COVID has been in the headlines for effin’ months, and there is nothing short of actual life and death situations that has to be done right now.

I went to a private Christian school K-8th where my dad being a doctor and my mom being a professor we were probably the poorest family I knew. We had a modest house under 2000sqft and my mom drove a minivan we bought used.

I remember when she was going to be her father’s conscience in the White House, the one that would make sure he wasn’t horrible.
