so, tips to not have to get up in the middle of the night:
cover your lexan container with aluminum foil, just tearing a slit to crush around the sous vide machine. I did a pork shoulder like that for a full day without having to add any water at all.
speaking of, pork shoulder is another one with an effort->payoff…

the belt-loop fitbit does this too, and will clip to your sleepwear to tracks sleep. (the Fitbit One, at least)
