its true anything over $700 to play a game is insane. Also most of the best PC exclusives run on source engine and don't require a great machine. Plus its true PC will never have halo, gears of war, last of us, or uncharted. All of these games do their best in gameplay and storytelling they don't focus on graphics yet…

Over the years meaning the lifespan of consoles, sure. Also PCs are backwards compatible, so any given console can't hold a candle to the PC's library of games.
