I'm pretty sure it's not been ten YEARS. Ten seasons, maybe, but that show wasn't on in 2004.

I think you've misunderstood me: I simply stated that that's how many many parents approach parenting these days (that's what I meant by Ideal ParentingTM). I think it's a terrible way to parent. And I'm an only child, so no need to explain about intense pressure/focus.

Right. I think that modern parenting (re: all kids all the time) IS at odds with an romantic relationship. I get that you don't have to do it that way, but I can't see how anyone can really argue that Ideal ParentingTM isn't about the kids to the exclusion of all else.

"They go on to lay out that we can't badmouth our kids. We can't say we love our children more than our spouse."

I think I'm way super late but I just discovered Jessie Ware and I agree about no babies but practicing.

OH MY GOD WHISPER OF DEATH!!!!!!!!! YAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!

No. I see him socially on a semi-regular basis. We are acquainted with each other and friendly, but I would not say we are friends. I just didn't wish to overstate.

This addresses my other reply to you, too. I understand what you're saying.

First of all, I guess I glossed over the part of your comment about payment, so my comment pertains to the romance writers who rally fans to leave positive reviews. Secondly, I don't understand your thought that fans of an author would not have read the book in question—wouldn't they likely have read it? Given that

I don't know why but this is the funniest thing I've heard all morning. Coke Zero right up my nose.

What's your objection here? Why are "fans" not also "real readers" of the book?

I still live in Hollywood—the homeless and drug addict remain, and rent is rapidly becoming $$$$.

Good luck.

I have mixed feelings about this. Obviously, she's an adult and she should do whatever she wants to do, and if she feels good now then I am glad for her. If I could do whatever I want to do, I would for sure have my breasts done and some lipo on my thighs. I've admitted it here on Jez and I stand by it. I do identify

Could not agree more. So unnecessary.

Didn't he date a 30 year old woman for a time? I assume she wouldn't go for that!

I am so into this, my God.

The English.

Really? She said it would likely be known in the future as "one of the more seminal musical works of the feminist movement." You thought she might have meant that?

Anyone who would shade you for that is a jerk. Even if it isn't "true," like, testable and verifiable, so what? It's still a nice thought. Who doesn't want special people at their wedding?
