So basically, to get into U of T you have to be in the top 10% of your class, which she was not, or have an excellent extracurricular resume, which she did not. It’s amazing/alarming that this case still made it to SCOTUS.

I just can’t star this enough. I’m the first to admit that Gawker, Jezebel, Deadspin, they’ve made a couple of mistakes in the years since I’ve been reading here, but I honestly can’t think of one other news/social/aggregator site that hasn’t made poor choices and suffered setbacks as a result.

An arrest means nothing. No charges were filled.

You’re right, police are normally very friendly to two women in a relationship having a fight. What with cops being so LGBT-friendly and all.
Again- she was the one with the bruise. The text messages were about him kicking her.
Being arrested is not the same as being prosecuted, convicted or bruised but thanks for playing the victim blame game where one mistep trumps multiple real evidence.
