Not attacking, just informing. She's Black and she identifies herself as Black. If you need direct proof her participation in the documentary "Light Girls" should do it. That documentary is about lighter skinned Black women talking about their experiences with intolerance. It's not a documentary anyone who didn't

PLEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASE LET THIS BE TRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

I think we agree on the same first point.

We can agree to disagree. I still think that telling women that call themselves feminists that they aren't really feminists is patronizing and divisive more than anything else but... agree to disagree. You and I have different views of feminism. I grew up with a very quiet mother and a very extroverted father. To

I am very wary of women who say "I don't think this other woman who says she is a feminist is a feminist because she doesn't have my exact feminist beliefs." What would Beyonce have to do to be a part of your "club"? You never actually say what she has specifically done to make you not consider her a feminist. You

Booooooooooooooooring. Boring. Boring. Boring. And don't even get me started on the "Urban Contemporary" category. Fuck the Grammy's. The best music that was released all year isn't even on their radar so I don't know why anyone respects their opinion.

I've been waiting for this!!!! I love KEXP and I LOOOOOOVE FKA twigs. This week has been so horrible. Thanks for sharing this and lifting my spirits a bit. <3

As a black person who has hated being a "token" in the past I understand that this is satire. I found the article hilarious. Keep doing your thing Kara. Good satire isn't about making fun of something purely for laughs, it's about poking at something in a sometimes comical way to make people think about how

I love her. This is dope. I also love her dancing. I like that she's herself, she moves and sings the way she feels like moving and singing and it works for her.

Black people are the ones being murdered. Black people are the ones being posthumously put on trial so the world can decide whether or not we deserved to die. Black people have more to fear just from walking around and trying to live. We are not the crazy monsters in this situation, but nice try KKK.

Great video. Thanks for this.

T_T She has to stop being so awesome. My poor heart can't take it. I've mentioned before that she's a ancient priestess/futuristic space princess and I stand by that as a perfectly accurate description of FKA Twigs.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS FKA TWIGS. I'm uncomfortable with the video's subject matter and I think it's gorgeous at the same time. She's amazing and I love her.

That's because it's currently the better show. *Clap.*

He's friggin' weird and I DIG IT. We need more weirdos in music they tend to do things other people won't and take music into exciting places. Also, is that Dita von Teese in the last vid (holding his sheet music) or just a lucky woman who looks like her?

Her album is INCREDIBLE. The Brits are killing it.

Full disclosure, I love MO and I HATE Iggy. I laughed throughout the "Beg for it" performance and then I felt a little bad. The second hand embarrassment is strong with that one. All you need is to add a laugh track and someone falling down at the end and it could have been a successful SNL sketch.

Music media goes on and on about how she gives off dark indie/rnb/pop vibes, but honestly there are a ton of artists who could fit that description so I don't think that tells you much. I saw her live and she reminded me of a futuristic alien princess/ancient priestess at the same time. A little like the Diva

She released one of the best albums of the year so far in my opinion. If you chill music that's a little off the wall you should check out her stuff.

I really, REALLY hope my company follows suit and does this as well. I hope this becomes a tech trend. :) No sarcasm. That shit's expensive and with my lifestyle it's seeming more and more like something I'm going to HAVE to do if I'm ever going to have biological children. :(
