Rogue One was the only good Star War movie in decades, TFA is not even as good as RotS

Sea turtles, mate.

MUCH BETTER. When it opened I thought no crawl, that’s appropriate. Then when it was over I was pissed this movie didn’t get a chapter number and a crawl. This movie makes Episode 4 so much more meaningful and brings a whole new flavor to Star Wars while still staying in sync with the originals. I haven’t seen a movie

We saw her get vaporized....

She dead.

Yeah, but comic books.

Didn’t the actor who played Quicksilver in Age of Ultron have more than one movie in his contract, too? And yet he was totes dead at the end, too. It means pretty much nothing.

Habeas corpus - if we saw her vapourised, she’s dead. If not, she turns up later, but how she got out of the situation could simply be an unanswered question. There, done. Or just make a prequel. Of a prequel.

“I’d imagine even if Rogue One were to outgross The Force Awakens (it won’t)“

To paraphrase Vader: Don’t get too proud of this technological wonder you’ve constructed. The ability to bring back dead actors is insignificant next to the power of the uncanny valley.

These were the only moments of the film I didn’t really like that much, because they took me out of the dialogue completely.
