The first time I ever heard Spacemen 3 was, in fact, on "120 Minutes"; they played the "Big City" video more than once. I can't say for sure Dave Kendall hosted any of those episodes, but…I also distinctly remember seeing the Residents' "One Minute Movies" on there as well. So there's that.

The first Kenickie record was fucking great. I still listen to it. They fell apart pretty quickly after that, however.

Not officially…but I saw Mark Mulcahy in Seattle in 1998, opening for Frank Black and the Catholics, which featured Scott Boutier and Dave McCaffrey - the other 2/3 of Polaris. Mulcahy closed his set by bringing them out, and they stormed through a gleeful version of "Hey Sandy" together. It was amazing.
