@Billkwando: I'm sorry, but I think I've been more than fair in trying to answer people's posts as rationally and calmly as possible. It's true that I confessed a fondness for regicide, and it would seem this has stuck in some people's craws a tad.
You're free to write letters to MPs too. Yes the heir to the throne will always carry more weight but I like to think thats because he often talks sense as much as he is heir to the throne.
The Armed Forces thing, yes they're kept well out of harms way. They're Officers, and Officers with their roles generally aren't running around on the front lines, there's nothing unusual about that.
