Women all around the world can buy that shit at a drugstore without a doctor, which is exactly how it should be. The instructions and risk warnings are on the box. The US is the only place where you need to jump through rings of fire to get basic medical care. The risks of the Pill are well known at this point, and

Well, shitty doctors happen. A shitty doctor is not a good case for fearmongering about the Pill, which generally has been safe and effective for MOST women who choose to take it (not all, certainly).

yep. And I say this as someone who could not tolerate the Pill. I wish that I could. Any sort of anti-pill naysaying is just fodder for the anti-choice cannon right now.

While I agree that there are issues with hormonal birth control and we need better options, now is NOT the time to come out swinging against contraception.

I agree, but I think factory farming and illegal game poaching are completely separate issues.

Fair.

Everyone already jumped on that one sufficiently, but the slavery analogy is my LEAST FAVORITE vegan talking point and just makes anyone who says it sound like a total asshole.

+1

I think - sorry - there is a pretty big difference between eating chicken and poaching a critically endangered animal from a place where white westerners have plundered resources and abused the land for hundreds of years.

oh the BIG MAN with his BIG GUN. I think punishment for such a STRONG VIRILE MAN should be to wear Lady Gaga’s meat dress with his only weapon being an old timey bow and arrow, none of this military grade shit, and make him walk through that nature conserve wearing it. We’ll see who fucking wins. SPOILER: hopefully

SUMMER JAMZ. I love this song despite myself.

I said the same thing - and I think its why Kaitlyn was SOOO upset after their hook up. If he had been great in bed, she would have been less sad and conflicted.

I got off so easy. My wedding venue did flowers (they had a wholesale distributor!!), open bar, champers toast, passed hors d’oeurves, entree, and cake for $110/head. We barely had to do anything. It was awesome.

My grandfather had polio as a child. He was partially crippled in his left hand, and it took him 2 years to learn to walk again. These fuckwits are exposing their children to something that disabling. And my grandfather was one of the lucky ones.

New York is OVER. O-V-E-R.

No offense, but you sound kind of psycho in this thread.

I started smoking again in grad school after having quit for five years. I feel that feel.

I didn’t even film my wedding at all. I don’t regret it in the slightest.

No coincidence that this study comes out and a very cleverly edited YouTube video of PP’s medical director “admitting” that they “sell baby organs on the black market” spreads all over the right wing blogosphere like government cheese in a microwave. Twitter is going apeshit.
