If the weather is right, and you right sanely, a date will LOVE time on a bike. Mine know I ride, and I make sure to understand that she may not have had a lot of experience on a bike. Therefore, I ride smoothly, and let her enjoy it.

I live in DFW, and my main issue with moving here from CA was the lack of legal lane splitting. I do it, and have not gotten pulled over yet, but I do choose when I do it carefully. Just in case.
Slow responses are what I do, sorry. In boot camp, we had to do extra pushups/bends and thrusts/random sweat inducing thing to “represent” what would happen if one of us screwed up in combat due to one Marine screwing up in combat. Not quite the same as actually killing the platoon to make a point.
I first watched FMJ while on boot camp leave in 1987. FMJ’s scenes are accurate, at least at the time I saw it. Except for the punching, I never witnessed any of that.
From someone who could not re-up after being out for a couple years due to medical reasons, I say Semper Fi, brother.
I am sure you had a point by posting this, but what was it? Serious question, not internet trolling.
Are you in DFW? Where can I get some? My ZX14 needs premium, which I cannot find. I HATE being forced to drive a car everyday.
I live in DFW (not a native, thankfully), and agree. But, to be fair, there is a reason for all that. Most areas in Texas are so very spread out, that a trip by any public transport would take so very long. Sure, you could get around a downtown area quickly enough, but longer trips would cost too much in the one thing…
This was a legendary post, will it be a prelude to to more? Or will you pilot your way to obscurity, and become a hobio?
Ah, the Geo Storm. The car of the military boot with 4 years and a wake up to go, back in the early 90s. Why they couldn’t just save a bit, and buy a CRX, I never understood.
Yes, brisket is eaten at funerals here. Just was at one last month.
Shush, you! Let them try to change them on their own, then have the truck towed to me to finish the job.
This might be an oversimplified observation, but this vid looks like “two idiots finding each other”, a quote I once heard (off the record) from a cop friend who used to work traffic.
I always liked them. Years ago, I saw one on 101 in the Bay Area, completely out of the blue. I get the “ugly” claims, but still very cool to see in RL.
First generation NSX. Not the fastest. Not the prettiest. But one of the greatest things humanity has ever created. Someday soon, one will be mine.
All of our birds were never taken out of service, at least in my time. They may have spent time on “death row” until the next fiscal year, but they all flew again.
Never was in a bird on fire, but had some other sphincter-clenching moments. You are so very right.
Broad brush there. I could say all Austrians are easily confused weightlifters, based upon your most famous living export, but I don’t. Let people be people, where they are from is just a description.
It’s always about the Booble Region. Not that I disapprove...
