I can’t imagine how much I’ve spent in RTV, Spray paint and fluids to keep my 30 Roadster going. But I do know I’ve spent more in oil than gasoline. In 4 years its never gone a full tank of gas with out something spewing somewhere.

I wonder how considerate Peanut Allergy Mom is when it comes to making sure that she doesn’t leave any soy, egg, pollen, etc allergens around for everyone else’s kids who could possibly have reactions to THOSE allergens, or does her concern end precisely where her own problems do?

I can understand both sides. If you’re the parent of a kid with a peanut allergy (or other severe allergy to a very common thing), I’m sure that’s difficult. It just like any spec series, see what modifications aren’t explicitly banned, and compete on skill. Skill tends to come into play more when cars are pushing 4-digit horsepower numbers.

This is 95 RON, which is not the same as 95 AKI (which is the system we use in the US). 95 RON is like 90-91 AKI, so we’d actually be getting a lower grade than current premium.

A rule I’d like to add that’s especially useful for old and/or rare cars is to to be careful not to damage or throw away faulty parts unless you’re absolutely sure you will not need them anymore.
