Edd’s death felt bad, because he died saving Sam during a battle everyone told Sam he’d be useless in. And they were right.  But Sam still had to go be a tough guy and live up to his useless dead Daddy’s image of what an idiot Knight should be like, and now his friend is dead.

DC currently experiencing this with the hordes of people coming to see the cherry trees - people openly break off entire branches as “souvenirs.” Someone captured a short video of two photographers shouting and cursing at each other - at sunrise! There were already crowds of people there at sunrise.
