Yeah, it's terrible that they aren't giving more weight to all the other horrible things that happen in real life to real people that some heartless assholes think is amusing to recreate in a video game!

Dude, just stop. Your agenda is obvious here.
Maybe because it's the worst of the bunch? Think...
Because rape is an actual crime that exists in real life, so people are naturally going to have a stronger reaction to it than impossible stuff like teleporting around and becoming stuck to another character. And they should. Rape is an actual thing that people are victimized by. Teleportation is not.
You probably think rape victims are asking for it too
Shut up... you're being more sensationalist than they are currently.
Yes, you ARE trying to point that out, but you're incorrect. You're trying to follow through on a baseless agenda.
Well, the rape part surely deserves its own article; it changes the discussion from one purely discussing a mod's features to something involving questioning the ethics of it and having it available.
The primary problem is that only -one- of these mods simulates a real-world, violent sex crime.
The others are obnoxious—but only one simulates (especially in terms of the helplessness suffered by other players) sexual assault.
Surely you can see the difference between, "teleport other players," and "fuck player in ass…
Something tells me that you are debating someone who may be a complete idiot.
There was an article about the mod turning you into any animal in the game, and I believe that ability is a part of this mod menu. So, yup, it would've and has been an article before.
I suspect you'll see some more writing from me on the subject, once I get my PS3 back and can hop into the game. For now, there was a recent incident—which was described in the post—where someone got assaulted, so I looked into that specifically.
The writer is talking about the thing that is noteworthy about this story: the whole reason to write about these incidents. Plenty has been said about modding in general. This is not sensationalism. Arguably, the modding itself was attention-baiting already, and you could say this is just giving them what they wanted,…
Why do you want that to be the headline? It is not a writer's job to be as defensive about a game, or the games industry, as its fans might be. The subject is reflected in the headline, and nobody can complain that this is clickbait or that the headline misrepresents the article's contents. This is how it should be…
Yeah it would! I'm very interested in what players do in GTA Online, and if anyone has any good stories—be it cheating, whack mods, or forming a cool gang inside the game—I'd be happy to hear more about it. patricia at kotaku dot com is my email.
At least he realizes that you gotta hand it over to the new generation, even if they're pandering to otaku.
Random Fact: Technically the cup is always full, half liquid, half air ;) (except you're in a vacuum environment of course) and besides be freaking happy you even got a cup!
Yeah I love that last one. Not only has he already moved on from Ghibli, he's moved on from talking about Ghibli.
That's how you do it.
You skipped the last two frames which I really liked.
Best way to play: with your friends, via Skype, with a bot running 80s music via Mumble, co-op.
