It’s a bummer, but makes sense. Phone company I work for has a policy essentially saying that if you speak to the media about stuff (even if it’s not bad) and identify yourself as working for the company then you’re canned.

Definitely a great point. Hartman’s is rough because his life was so screwed behind the scenes with his wife. Dimebag’s was definitely a shocker.

Just a lot of memories of his work. Stuff with GWAR, Dave Brockie Experience, and his writing. I connected with the idea that someone could be so completely out there in many of the things they do, but still be pretty normal and nice. I never felt like Oderus took him over until he died.

I don’t think I am. But ever since I saw his death photos I can’t really look at his work the same. I don’t get choked up or anything, but when I see any of his work I just think “Fuuuuuuuck. That sucks.” Same as the other two I mentioned.

Farley is one of three celebrities whose death really bothers me (Phil Hartman and Dave Brockie being the other two). It’s so sad that he’s no longer with us. A real loss to the entertainment world. It’s gonna be a while before I can watch this.

Agreed. I took this as one of the first steps from the right to isolate themselves from Trump and to try and leave him on the side of the road.
