This is one of the most spectacular, numinous places I have ever been, and this picture while lovely doesn’t do it justice. You can’t even tell those are torii if you aren’t an asiaphile! Very, very worth a day trip from Kyoto. Pick up a souvenir Inari shrine with fox guardians while there!
