I guess that has to have happened, but porcupine on a leash never occurred to me.

I’ve invested with Ariel for 15 years. They have an impressive team.
That's true in other jurisdictions, which is extra bullshit because the countdown is akin to a yellow light, which of course you're allowed to travel through an intersection on.
Why isn't Ayala running for reelection? She sounds good for Florida!
I also have trouble with the plural aspect of the pronoun 'they.' For me, it's an effort to remember and use this as some of my students request.
Voter suppression. Registration is suppression.
Here's another edge case in which Crocs are acceptable: deck shoes on a commercial fishing boat. That's why I bought my pair. (Not a lot of sex in that workplace, BTW).
I see the same thing. You’re positioned well between disciplines to do the translational work that narrow disciplinarians have so much trouble with. I see people with rare training and skills in that role (in my world, many are academic geographers).
Lol that’s amazing.
College Professor here. I give closed-notes tests. But I have students take them with a partner. Obviously, they have to be able to talk about the answers.
I want him conscious enough to know he lost in a landslide. I want him to at least go out knowing how loathed he is.
I'd think coaches would like the masks. No more lip reading what they're saying!
I’m paying for dental, vision, and health insurance that my family can’t use bc annual checkups and cleanings are canceled. Insurance companies are making out like bandits here.
I have to imagine Citadel grads were miles worse than VMI.
Removing their accreditation, or disallowing NCAA competition until VMI renounced the confederacy would be another way to force change.
So, a bong vacuum. Neat!
Holy shit: 2% fired each year? That’s astonishing. I’m a professor, and of course know a lot of other profs. I personally only know one tenured professor who was fired.
Also, I have 2 cars and ride a bike. It's not like we don't pay taxes. Gas taxes don't even pay for roads anyway, maybe 63% or so.
Road users break rules. In general, people break the rules they feel safe and comfortable breaking. Jay walking, riding slowly through an intersection on a bike, speeding in a car... All those things are violations, but only some are dangerous to other people. Driving a car puts other road users at risk.
The last thing I ordered at Taco Bell (2+ years ago) was a Mexican pizza.
