Nope. That’s super ageist. People should lose their licenses when they can’t pass a driver’s medical/driver’s test. If their eyes are good, if they have mobility, if they have good reactions, and good cognitive function, then they can pass a driver’s medical.

My mother is 86 and earlier this year I had to teach her how to drive an automatic because she just bought an auto due to a knee replacement, she’d only ever owned manual cars up until then... she drives about fine, I had no worries about being in a car with her.

This is one case where the added ride height of a CUV is 100% important. It can be hard sitting down and getting up from a corolla-height car when you’re in your 80's.
