While it is most definitely healthy to be skeptical of a port like this - especially after previous similar ports didn’t pan out as well - I am just glad that Obsidian is spreading the game to more people than ever before. Not everyone has a PC capable of running the game, but do have home consoles, so I’m just glad

I don’t think it would be the big logistics nightmare you may think it would be. Tokyo Game Show operates on a similar structure (a couple media only days before allowing the general public access), and it seems to work quite well for them.

Advance Wars and F-Zero are the two franchises of Nintendo’s that I would like to see brought back into the limelight.

Despite all the valid worry being brought up in the comments here, I have to say that I’m genuinely excited. While nothing may ever come of this - although I personally have a feeling that it will come to fruition - it is still awesome to listen to and see someone who has so much passion for this project and what they

I’m looking forward to their return. Despite the absurdity of Rare’s fight with Nintendo over the Avatars vs. the Miis back in the day, they really did latch onto something really nice for personalizing your account - something that I definitely missed when the Xbox One launched.

This game does look like it would be quite fun in its early state. It looks like it takes inspiration from both Attack on Titan and Sunset Overdrive and the mix has a lot of potential.

Yeah, the Xbox Live multiplayer is the only real bothersome thing about this announcement. While I have nothing against Microsoft attempting to build up their own personal PC store, they have lost some of the charm that they had when they were PC primarily back when the original game came out.

Honestly, I wasn’t that excited about the idea of a Rabbids and Mario crossover game. However, Ubisoft manage to win me over completely with that gameplay video.

This is an utterly fascinating game, and other than my extreme love for the return of Clone Troopers in Battlefront II, was definitely the best thing to come out of the EA press conference.

This is exciting. I never got to play the original Age of Empires - II was my introduction to the series and kind of all I managed to play from it (well, Age of Mythology as well), so this is an extremely exciting announcement.

This is an extremely weird situation on Microsoft’s part. After espousing their desire to showcase a diverse array of titles - which they most definitely did - this sort of controversy building up around one of the titles the community latched onto is undoubtedly disconcerting.

To each their own, I don’t think Other M is as bad as people make it out to be. But I do understand the sentiment XD

I hate to break it to you, but Team Ninja actually did do that...

Despite the, serious, flaws with the first EA Battlefront, I am absolutely ecstatic for the release of Battlefront II. In fact, I teared up a little listening to the Clone Troopers shouting warnings and orders at one another. Like genuinely teared up.

Yeah, even though I’m quite excited for the game, there is way too much on screen at any given time. Not even the main FF titles have that much junk cluttering the screen as you’re trying to fight and go through the motions of actual gameplay.

Unless Atlus had decided to port Etrian Odyssey V over to the Switch - and alienated most of that franchise’s fanbase by not releasing the game on the 3DS over here - it was always going to be a 3DS title (it has been out since Fall 2016 in Japan).

I’m mostly super excited about the Etrian Odyssey V announcement as I already have copies of the DS versions of both Strange Journey and Radiant Historia.

Adapting the Living Card Game format for a digital CCG would be brilliant. It’s too bad microtransactions actually work as a business model; preventing that mentality from sticking.

I can totally understand why people would be disappointed with this news. The timing of this Direct was way too close to E3 for people to not get excited, and for only two upgraded versions of last year’s Pokemon titles to be announced it can sting.

Undead dinosaurs and Indiana Jones style adventures are right up my alley. I’m definitely going to have to get a group of friends together for me to be able to DM this adventure when it comes out in September.
