It’s taken a long while, but I’m finally starting to feel excited about this game. Will probably hold off on it until April, but the game is looking like it will be a worthy successor - at least on the gameplay front - to the original trilogy.

The only thing disappointing about the gender locking of some heroes in this game is that I cannot play a badass male spear wielder (hopefully a future update adds something like that).

Awesome review. I was leery about picking up the game because, despite my adoration for much of the Killzone series (particularly Mercenary on the Vita and 2 on the PS3), I wasn’t really impressed with Guerilla Games’ last PS4 game. This has reassured me that the game is definitely one to look at picking up, and may

Great review here. It really does sell the game. Although, where many understandably find the thrill of the fight in For Honor, I tend to find my failures to succeed (particularly in 1v1) quite frustrating.

Yeah... It is definitely malicious fun to just knock people off ledges in this game. The beta was both horrifyingly awful for that (for me) and a lot of fun when I pulled it off on others.

What does it say when I have both Kagero and Takumi in my game? Probably that I’m far more prepared for end game content than I should be.

You had me at Amy Adams XD

I find that Heroes has a great variety of art styles, but my favourites are the following:

I know many people who had the same mentality as you, but have recently boarded the Destiny train. It’s not a bad game at all, it just was everywhere and suffered from way too much hype before release.

Man Speed Racer was so good. We really do need anime-style fantasy on the big screen though. That would be so much fun just for the ridiculous fight scenes. Maybe we can convince the Wachowski’s to do a live action Slayers - or KonoSuba.

Absolutely. Too much hype and a game is inevitably going to be judged purely upon preconceived notions, rather than what it actually does bring to the table. Destiny is not a bad game after all, but it did suffer from promising far more than Bungie ended up being able to deliver upon.

On one hand, I’m honestly glad that we’ve yet to hear anything on Destiny 2. I have more issues when a company decides to “blow their load” early on and reveal way too much that just doesn’t end up being in the game. It also allows hype to build properly with a consistent and steady flow of information/chances to

Probably not the only one, but we tend to fall between the cracks (or end up getting caught up in the toxicity when people don’t listen). That said, it’s always good when the tank can keep themselves together.

I think so too. But that’s probably mostly because tank players are there to get hit by the enemy, and allow others to get the glory, so we know what we were getting into when we started up XD

That is not surprising in the slightest. Pretty much all gacha games have players who will do this (and I’ve done it on my alternate account for this one myself).

I really don’t think it’s fair to count Little Witch Academia right now when the only way to watch it is to torrent it since Netflix is not simulcasting it. Other than that, these are some really good recommendations (and most are part of my post-season binge list).

Oh absolutely. The little things help a game/movie/novel world feel far more alive than it would otherwise. While too much connection - as Star Wars is faulted for frequently - can be detrimental, things like this are absolutely wonderful for making the world/universe feel more alive.

Argh! You’re all part of the problem!! /jk

These potential little connections are honestly quite exciting as they leave some little hints that may or may not prove to be valuable to the overall experience of the game.

Finally a Capture-the-Flag mode for the game. Even if it’s only temporary, it’s enough to get me jumping right back in to the game and eager to play.
