Doubtful. Boeing saw the writing on the wall years ago when its 747 line started winding down with little interest in the new 747-8 other than freight movers. The operating economics of the big twins like 777 and A350 are superior to the quad jets, and with similar seating capacity there’s no reason to operate a quad.…

That’s all great, but it doesn’t do me much good on the usual Richmond-Charlotte-Phoenix-Long Beach trips I was making. The longest leg was only four hours, not nearly enough time to really enjoy the suite. Can we stay in a holding pattern above long beach for the next 12 hours or so so that I can get my money’s worth?
