I mostly understand your first point, but in public school the ‘better’ kids are segregated anyway: AP courses, BC calculus, honors courses, etc.
I'm confused. Are you saying home schooling parents are being selfish by keeping their 'good kids' out of school where they could set examples for others to strive for, or are you saying parents teaching their 1 or 2 already good kids should be teaching the less fortunate kids?
