Justice League Heroes (basically Diablo starring the Justice League) is a better Superman game. For one, when you use Block, Supes does the classic “Bullet’s can’t hurt Superman” stance a al George Reeves.

I see Blizzard finally figured out that Diablo-style ARPG’s are work better with controllers than other methods. They also finally implemented the split-the-screen in the middle method of having both player’s inventory on the screen on the same time, that almost EVERY Diablo style ARPG on the PS2 had. Took them long

The DualShock 4 controls for Sims 4 are better than what they originally were, but still not quite perfect. But Sims 4 on PS4, fully supports keyboard and mouse control, so use whichever method you want.

Probably the bunny ears and demon horns are references to Japanese mythology and/or the names of the ships, like how rabbits are associated with the Moon.

We gaijin didn’t get to play FFXI on our PS2's in 2002, we had to wait till 2004! And you didn’t need broadband to play it, though I did have broadband in 2002. And broadband helped with downloading the large patches to the PS2's hard drive. Sadly, you can’t actually play the game on console anymore, Squeenix stopped

I was surprised it wasn’t on there already, I picked up a Switch in mid-December.  To me, it’s basically a Vita 2, except for the sucky d-pad on the left joy-con. Yeah, I know they want the joy-cons to be able to be used as NES/SNES controllers detached, but it means that the left one doesn’t have a proper joypad like

Portable XCOM? Do you have a Vita? Then you’re good, XCOM1 (with the expansion included) was ported to it.

As a PSP and Vita owner..and one who recently acquired a Switch (the 001-01 model) I say: “Ha Ha, now all the Nintendo fanboys will learn what being a PSP/Vita owner was like. If you want nice graphics, you pay for it in battery life”. Course it’s worse with Nintendo because Nintendo’s sleep modes in the more modern

FATE!  WildTangents WebDriver was installed on a PC I had.  WebDriver was annoying enough that even though I had actually purchased FATE, I didn’t play it much at all.  Also I wanted a console port and controller support.  Too bad Alex St. John was an ex-Microsoft guy who favored his ex-employer.

My first Diablo style ARPG was Diablo....on the PSone in 1998. (And I always complain about how PSone Diablo never got released on as a PSone Classic) I first got online in 1999, and I’ve been promoting the benefits of direct movement control in ARPG’s since then. And for all the PC Master Race guys who say you lose

Doesn’t Torchlight II have an inventory space of 150, more than Diablo III?

Open World?  Like Sacred 2 then?  Hope we get a rotatable and zoomable camera on the right stick...as the Diablo-clone gods intended.  And yes, I said right stick, there had better be a console release too.  I’m also glad it’s now a REAL game.

GI Joe deserves a better game.  This....I command!

I think your love off all things Nintendo from your youth is showing. Me, I was 22 when the original GameBoy and Lynx came out so I don’t have that “Nintendo can do no Wrong” mindset some gaming pundits have because they were 10 when the NES or GB came out. For one, as I have replied earlier to throw a bunch of DS

My PSP 1000 battery swelled, but my PSP 3000 is still going strong. (I only have a 3000 because the UMD drive on my 1000 failed) Great sleep mode too, as every PSP owner knows.

Say what?  I have PSP games on my Vita right now.  Just head to the store and download the things.  Admittedly Crisis Core is one PSP game that never got a digital release on the store, ask Squeenix about that.

I always hate when gaming pundits bash the Game Gear, Lynx, Turboexpress and Nomad for battery  usage.  NiCad batteries were a thing even in 1989.

What? The PSP 2000 is smaller, and can do Skype which the 1000 can’t. It also has component video out. The 3000 has an improved screen, extra RAM to act as cache, component AND composite video out AND a mic.  While the GO doesn’t have a UMD drive, it does have Bluetooth so you can pair a PS3 controller with it.

I always looked forward to reading a Gita post.  In fact, I purchased the Sims 4, because of your articles on it.  While I don’t play it a lot, I’m glad I have it.  And as pre-order owner of NMS, I appreciated your coverage.  Your insights on gaming will be missed.

She has to pay for all those D&D hardcovers after all.
