You know, perhaps you should have given Save the World an entire paragraph and actually describe that mode, because adults might prefer co-op team RPG/Shooter/Defense/Sandbox STW to BR.

I was expecting to see a Marie Kondo meme and I was not disappointed.

I think you need to ask yourself some honest questions about the older hardware. How often do you “really” play the Dreamcast, PS2 and Gamecube. I’ve got a few older machines, PS2, SNES, NES, N64, but only the SNES is anywhere near the TV and it is not plugged in. Heck I have a PS3 sitting next to my PS4 on my gaming

So just remote play the thing on your PS4 via the Vita/PSTV, and not spend $60 bucks on a new version? (Grumbles about the lack of REAL DQ on PlayStation hardware. Why Dragon Warrior VII isn’t a PSN classic I’ll never know.)

Using the phrase “tate mode” in reference to Pinball...an American invention, just makes you come across as a wee bit Japanophilic, don’t you think? You don’t have to prove your “Hardcore Otaku” cred in an article about pinball.

The game is currently on sale at the PSN store, US$29.95. You might also be able to find discounted copies at your local enormo-mart. I’ve seen copies at Wal-Mart for US$19.95

On the plus side the music is the classic tunes (though still not quite the equal of the music in the SNES port) and the PS4 version has keyboard and mouse support

That Dhalsim is VERY impressive. I also noticed the first Chun-Li was a crossplayer, thumbs up. I also liked the DeLorean, Sho’Nuff, Trunks, and the Diablo Necromancer.

It’s not a secret, the PS4 uses the standard system housekeeping time for game save syncing, which is at 4/5 AM local time. And yes, it’s only once a day.

Yes, the PS3 lets you choose a time, the PS4 doesn’t.

It’s not really that arcane, the PS4 behaves like a BSD system, which it is. On Unix-likes, the system performs housekeeping functions at a set time, often around 5AM local time if the machine is on. Rotating logs, updating databases, and so forth. The PS4 is doing the same thing, probably using the same Unix-like syst

Because game updates are huge.  Think about how long a goodly sized Windows or Linux system update takes...and triple that...because game updates can be 3 or even 10 times larger than an operating system update.

Things are somewhat less ephemeral in FortNite: Save the World. The pump shotgun is still in the game. The Legendary variant, The Bear, is a popular weapon for Shotgun based builds.

I think we could do with a few less K/DA sexywhatever, Sexy Pokemon and Bowsette cosplay. Cosplay Ladies, I know you’re proud of your bodies and the hard work you put into your cosplay and maintaining your look with workouts, makeup skills, design skills and sewing skills...but we’re getting kinda saturated with sexy

the PSN ID system is derived from the PlayStation Underground system. Those of us who had them could use them with our PSN-ID systems, no need to create a new one. So my PSN ID dates back to late ‘99 early ‘00 I think. I got one or two PSone based Underground issues before they switched to the PS2 ones, though I

It is derived from the PlayStation Underground system, so it dates back to 1997. Those of us who had PSU ID’s could use them on our PS3's, didn’t have to create a new ID

Well you have to remember, Sony’s PSN ID system has its origins in the Playstation Underground. Those of us who had PlayStation Underground ID’s could use them when we got our first PSN ID based system. So the core of their ID system is 20 years old.

Oh, I don’t know, could the reason being you grew up with Nintendo and thusly “things that are Nintendo-related” are subconsciously treated as more “special” to you?

You’re saying that on “Kotaku”, which has always been rather “japanophile-centric”. The Japanophiles running the place have become so used to what some of us might consider the “problematic” elements in fanservice RPG’s that they’ve become the equivalent of “nose-blind”. They’re essentially “moe-addled” fanboys. And

yes, yet another harem fanservice RPG the moe-addled japanophiles will lap right up. Heck the trailer has their boobs jiggling as they bounce up and down while talking with them. Here’s some questions for Gach and Fahey? Is the knight some nebbish-y guy? What would they say about this game if it had western character
