One thing I like to do on overnight flights is pick a seat towards the back of the plane. If it’s not a full flight, which I tend to see more on international flights, sometimes you can get an entire row to yourself in the center section. You can lay down and it becomes a poor man’s business class.

If anything needs to get suspended, it’s the commercials after icings and the Discover commercial with the Asian woman excited about her cash back. It seems like that one is on every commercial break.

My prime is set to renew on 6/28. The website says it will renew at $99 but I don’t know if that hasn’t been updated yet. I sent them an email asking what the price would be and if I could renew early. I find it strange I can’t extend the membership early, like I can with Xbox Live or Costco.

I remember having Goose Island IPA in the late 90's and I remember it being good with a really strong flavor. I had some occasionally over the past few years and it seemed average at best. I’ve wondered if the beer changed, I changed, or both. In the late 90's there weren’t that many IPA’s so it was a new experience.

Then the people who follow like that for miles will pass me and then slow down. Then I have to pass them. Of course they will go back to following or pass me again. If they slow down again, I feel I should legally be able to push them off the road.

They might be able to get the father for something. Illinois requires a Firearm Owners ID (FOID) card to possess a gun. The gunman’s card was revoked. Knowingly giving a gun to someone who has a revoked FOID card is likely a crime. I don’t know if it is or how severe the punishment is though.

I was watching the Tour de France one he did while on a Delta flight. I wasn’t expecting the full frontal male nudity. Especially after a movie on the previous flight had every swear word dubbed over badly.

I’m amazed at how far ketchup will shoot out of a packet. My wife stepped on one the other day. About an hour later, I noticed ketchup on a wall over 20' away.

My son lost his stuffed animal once. Thankfully Toys R Us still sold them and he didn’t notice or care that it was a replacement. We bought an extra one after that. We have the same plan to give it to him when his first kid is born.

I’ve heard one of the reasons the TSA’s war on liquids is dumb is because the liquid explosives are so volatile that the bomber would likely blow themselves up driving to the airport. I’ve always thought it was dumb because there is nothing stopping people from combining their liquids after security.

I have a large suitcase I call my “Very Bad Things” suitcase. If you’ve seen the movie, you’ll know why. Although after watching The Americans, I think regular size suitcases can hold more then one would think.

I’ve heard of the $80 gallon of milk. I went in yesterday to get about $30 of stuff. Ended up spending about $90.

Maybe he could put something that would block the camera’s view but allow a cop driving by to still read the plate.

I would think the state could collect a use tax. The Illinois income tax form has a spot for internet and out of state purchases where tax wasn’t charged or the tax was less than Illinois’ rate.

That is the most frustrating thing about the video. I don’t want to see anyone get hurt but I wouldn’t mind seeing their car take some damage. There needs to be some consequences for the driver.

About 4 days into a week long trip, “Dad, I want to go home”.

I’m not sure if it’s still the case, but row 6 on the United A320 had the partial partition and was great. The window person could get out without the aisle and middle having to move.

The only time I’ve ever had anyone check my signature was in London last year. At the same time, I learned that signature strip eventually wears off and it says “void” underneath it.

My advice is to set up alerts on Google flights and be ready to buy immediately when you see a good price. I was able to get two tickets to London for $500 each flying from my regional airport for a late August trip last year. I had 6 hour layovers in Atlanta each way but I could live with it at that price. I bought
