I rented a car for part of my trip in the UK last month. It was weird when I first saw the amber light come on before the green. I was thinking this is a good idea because it tells people to be ready to go or it’s a bad idea because it’s basically staging lights for a drag race.

One of the things I like about travelling in Europe is how tipping is minimal. Most restaurants have a service fee built in and people are free to tip more for exceptional service. I probably tip more than I should while I’m there.
