I rented a car for part of my trip in the UK last month. It was weird when I first saw the amber light come on before the green. I was thinking this is a good idea because it tells people to be ready to go or it’s a bad idea because it’s basically staging lights for a drag race.

My wife had surgery earlier this year. The bill came to $71,000. The insurance company took a $62,000 discount. That tells me that the hospitals, doctors, insurance companies, etc. are still making a profit at $9,000 for the procedure.

I always say I’m going to jump out of the plane right away and fight, but I then I look at where the plane is heading and decide to jump later. I can usually find a decent place to hide and last until the there are 20-25 people left. After that, I usually get killed by someone that I don’t even see.

I got one of these as a rental in England. I was upgraded from a compact which was supposed to be a Ford Focus/Vauxhaul Astra. Overall it was decent car. It needs more power but it was probably good to have the smaller engine since gas was between $5.50 and $6.00 a gallon. It also had all of the safety items, like

As a Packers fan, it’s painful that they lost the game against the Seahawks. However, the game seems like such a fluke with several things going the Seahawks way. If one thing doesn’t go the Seahawks way in that game, the Packers win. They could replay the last quarter or so of that game 100 times and 100 times the

I wouldn’t mind hanging places with a cat for a day. I just want to know what goes through their heads when they suddenly decide they have to be in another room that instant.

I’m glad Kuhn is gone because, inevitably, in a critical juncture of the game, McCarthy would put Kuhn in the backfield on a 3rd and 1 play. I would be repeating to myself “Don’t hand the ball to Kuhn, Don’t hand the ball to Kuhn.”

One of the things I like about travelling in Europe is how tipping is minimal. Most restaurants have a service fee built in and people are free to tip more for exceptional service. I probably tip more than I should while I’m there.

Schafly, out of St Louis, has a good pumpkin one. It tastes like drinking a pumpkin pie. I tend to hate most of the pumpkin beers but that one is decent.

Speaking of airports, I’m stuck in Atlanta for 6 hours tomorrow. Any good places to drink there? I used to grab something at Sweetwater there but it looks like it closed.

I remember drinking Goose IPA back in the late 90's/early 2000's and it was better with a stronger flavor. I don’t know if the reason was that it was one of the first IPA’s I tried and I had nothing to compare it to. There weren’t many IPA’s around at the time either. My tastes have probably changed some too, but

Or Walgreen’s salute to Black History Month:

I’m going to have to try these. When I was in Istanbul 3-4 years ago, they had taco flavor Doritos that were so much better than the taco ones we have here. I remember them having a bit of a beef flavor to them.

I can’t wait for the overly emotional background stories showing how the esports players overcame adversity.

I hate that manufacturers put some awful tires that aren’t that cheap, when there are better options out there. My Legacy GT came with Bridgestones and my Pontiac G8 came with Goodyears and both of those tires were horrible. The AWD of the Legacy masked some of the tire deficiencies. There was no hiding how bad the

Over Macho Grande?

Well...they do eat lutefisk over there. That’s wild...and gross. You should have seen the look on my wife’s face when I explained what the Norwegian descended side of my family used to do for Christmas dinner.

You forgot fried cheese curds. The squeaky fresh ones are great too.

One issue I see happening is that this will be inconsistently applied. I can already see getting yelled at for leaving a small device in a bag at one airport when several other airports say to leave it in the bag. I’ve been yelled at for putting my boarding pass and ID in the tray at one airport and then yelled at

That’s what my wife now uses. Her doctor doesn’t have a problem getting her a prescription for a few pills depending on the length of the flight. She doesn’t seem to care if there’s turbulence now.
