Exactly. Each game (even DLC) they produce is several steps ahead of the previous. They’re honestly force indie developers should aspire to: starting out in humble beginnings and really progressively polishing each time.

Considering the leap I’ve seen so far between Endless Space 1 & 2, the jump between Endless Legend 1 & 2 is something i am very fucking excited for.

Endless Legend has been what I’ve seen as the absolute best in 4X these days. That Civ6 is borrowing so heavily with their city designs from EL USB a testament to the extreme quality of EL. The game is a perfect melding of science fiction bending into fantasy

I remember an article from a macleans magazine about this. Of course, the evidence they’ve studied does support that correlation.(that games like GTA V reduce the likelihood of someone committing a crime irl)

So in spite of the massive proliferation of violent video games we’ve seen the violent crime rate drop by almost 50% since 1990. So the only correlation is that they reduce crime.
