Not a Pixar film.

You’ll always be the next Black Panther to me.

I think you put your finger on why I’m not getting through this season—they’ve crowded out a lot of their usual storylines/characters to focus heavily on Charles/Diana. That would throw things off balance even if the Charles/Diana stuff was good. But I don’t think the final demolition of a clearly failed marriage is

I bet they were like, “Okay, elephant in the room, Mario’s accent is borderline offensive. We can’t ask an Italian to talk like that, can we? It’s only a voice role, so it doesn’t matter what they look like as long as they can do the Mario accent. Let’s just get a shameless Big Name.”
So they got Chris Pratt, and now

Dare I say it’d be nice if an Italian actor got the gig to voice Mario.

Phase 4 is like a new phase 1, which didn’t have any real connective tissue either. I’m not worried.

I’ve read fans complaining about too much cross-over and now not enough. I think fans need to sit back and, uh, marvel at just what an amazing thing Marvel Studios has created over the past 15 years. They spent 5 years getting flagship characters together, they spent 10 years assembling some deep dive characters into a

The movies were always hit or miss, the good ones were just good enough to compensate for the lesser offerings. Phase 4 just happens to be the time they went 4-13.

People really overrate that bus fight. Hell, the movie Nobody has a bus fight that’s twenty times better and done with the catering budget of a Marvel movie.

Like which ones? I think the TV output has largely been good, especially lately. TFATWS and What If...? are the only ones I found truly disappointing. And none of them really felt like stretched out movies to me.

I mean, didn’t they explicitly say that Phase 4 was going to be about everyone grappling with the struggle of getting back to life after The Snap, and dealing with the trauma and grief of both that and The Battle of Upstate New York?

Wictorious, surely

If these guys are boomers, their parents must’ve paid a visit to the Guardian of Forever after conceiving them.

For clarification: Shadow Moon & the other two were crap and I am not sad to see them ignored.

Yeah I’m confused by that too...though I’m also one of the few who likes Quantum of Solace. To me the first two movies are great (when watched together) and everything after that is kinda garbage.

As I recall, it’s a decent show but nothing like the movies. It’s more like a PBS show. He meets historical figures and goes on educational romps.

I saw someone say the other day that Coraline was a character invented for the screen by Tim Burton, apparently forgetting that it was a Henry Selick movie based on a (wonderful) Neil Gaiman book.

Fuck off, dude. If I made a movie that became a beloved classic but like 99% of people think someone else did my job, I would be biting off my tongue every night. People who do good work deserve to be credited, and correct attribution is a genuinely important and moral thing to do in any endeavor. If you don’t see
