This whole article just went in completely inane directions to critique this trailer and the idea of this show.

But if we’re making a show called “The Lord Of The Rings,” one must assume that eventually, there will be a season about the book The Lord Of The Rings.

So does WandaVision get dinged at all for how terribly Doctor Strange MoM handled the aftermath of that series? Whether you care for Wanda’s villain turn or not, the movie was a decided step down from the more nuanced treatment she had gotten.

They changed the twins to match the movies so they aren’t mutants or Magneto’s kids in the comics anymore.

I think you’ll see plenty of critics and fans making a case for any of the big four (Beggar’s, Let it Bleed, Sticky, and Exile). The critical consensus has sort of settled on Exile, but I think fans and many critics would go to bat for any of those four.

It’s just dumb. Yeah, the Stones might not have as good a catalogue as the Beatles in 8 years, but who does?

I’m not big on combining live albums with studio recordings on lists like this, it just muddies the value of the ranking too much as it’s just double dipping on their best songs. Like, the live versions of Satisfaction or Brown Sugar is better than anything on Steel Wheels, so this live album is better than that album?

I think there’s a difference between the method acting of Daniel Day Lewis, whose variety could be called intense lived-in research, and the stuff you hear about Jared Leto, who uses it as an excuse to be an asshole to his castmates and crew.

At the time, the other movies in the pipeline (mostly just rumor or very early development) were a Boba Fett movie and Kenobi movie. The Boba Fett movie kind of in a very sideways way morphed into The Mandalorian (if only that when the Fett movie went kaput they decided to try something else starring a Mandalorian

Attack of the Clones, but yes. Both images are from that film.

It’s going to be about whatever was going on with Suzie’s family. That was a very peculiar household for such a brief scene without any explanation of the strangeness.

I’m gonna guess \for her age in the mid 80s, when video games were very much seen as a kid’s toy, these finer details are not part of her knowledge.

My head canon for Imwe is that he was Force sensitive but wasn’t found in time to be trained. So he’s capable of low level feats like awareness of his surroundings despite being blind, but that’s about it.

Moon Knight was so refreshing for this restraint. I hope they keep it up.

I hated this movie. I’ve long  hated what they did to Wanda in the comics, and I was happy that WandaVision seemed to be a more nuanced take (like how the MCU Civil War was a vast improvement of the comics Civil War)

He looked so goofy as Nuklon. I never read Infinity Inc., but he always stuck out in the crowd shots of Crisis on Infinite Earths.

Atom Smasher became an ally to Black Adam when they were both in the JSA, so probably why he made it to the film if they need more super-powered bodies.

I was dismissive at first about the need for a book about Snow (a character I hated), but I remember being impressed at how the book handled him. It was more nuanced than an innocent person who was tragically corrupted or an evil kid who became an even more evil man.

FWIW, the book was a rare prequel that worked well with the existing series and had some worthwhile character and thematic developments apart from just fan service.

There’s some wiggle room if Darth Vader has been acting from the shadows up to this point. While he definitely has more renown by the time of the OT, at this point the Inquisitors may be more of the public face of Jedi Hunting and the general populace, especially non-Rebel related people living on the Outer Rim, might
