This is just a corollary of the "friendzone" theory if you ask me. It's the hare-brained notion that women are obligated to look past a man's glaring flaws (whatever they are) and want to be with some guy because that guy is special or otherwise exceptional.
A+ for sweeping generalization effort!

Exactly, despite the old myth that all supermodels really want it a nice average Joe who's a good listener, the reality is that most people wind up with someone who's attractiveness is equivalent the theirs.
Also, "I'm not 'super hot' but I want women who are 'super hot'. I get mad when women also place importance on physical appearance."
Sounds like a teenage platitude if you ask me.
Kind of telling who he used as his examples: Leno, Larry the Cable Guy, himself. Guess he figured he'd invalidate his thesis if he mentioned Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, or Craig Ferguson.
Oh my god, he is a serial rapist.
I'd describe it as this: For lots of guys, looks are the ONLY thing that matter; for most women, looks are ONE thing that matters. So there are a ton of guys that would date a woman who was not that nice, not that smart, had no job, etc. if she was really, really, hot, but for most women looks are one factor that may…

When I was doing chat-based tech support, we had a male tech on our team with a first name that is generally considered female here in the States (think Kelly or Ashley). One day he came over to me with a funny look on his face and asked me, "Do you... /always/ get hit on when you're working?"
Unions and decent employment laws. Decent employment laws and a better fairer welfare state. I searched Product of the Welfare State and only found vile front pages of Daily Mail articles and far right Tea Party bullshit, so I give you this graph:
It's pretty rapey.
My comment on this is only partly related to this discussion. I just want to chime in my opinion about why women surpass men in education.
No, that's just what 3 butthurt guys said at one point, and Wikipedia quoted them.
The war on men is about the dumbest, most ridiculous so called "war" I have ever heard of. It is from those who think that for equality to exist, somebody has to lose. They simply cannot see a world where both can benefit, nor do they want to. These typically are the same types who seethe that black people aren't made…
I don't understand it either.
I think this article relies too heavily on stereotypes. Saying men can't/don't communicate well is simply false, especially when we see people who stop and pay attention when a man speaks but ignore or mock women when they're saying the same damn thing. Even if it weren't false, it wouldn't be all that relevant - if…
