Oh, I totally agree that MRAs are hypocritical scum. And I'm not taking issue with the commenters so much as the story and others that have been posted recently (like the one about the man imprisoned and raped in Germany).
Seriously, this is one of the instances where I think MRAs actually have a point- violence perpetrated against men by women is treated as a joke instead of a crime. The fact that a feminist-leaning-ish website is perpetuating this attitude is especially disgusting.
I am really sick of all these glib stories about women abusing/hurting/killing men. It's sad and awful, not amusing.

Apparently Denton said the changes will be applied to all the sites (and he specifically mentioned Jezebel). I don't have the link handy though- maybe someone else does?
They're rolling out a new commenting system that lets anyone post anonymously. It's already been implemented at Gawker, resulting in lots of dead fetus pictures and bestiality porn everywhere (or so I heard, I didn't stick around to see much).
