It IS a long story (just the first book alone) but yeah I am not a fan of Hollywood’s desire to turn everything into multiple movies as a cash-grab.

Always hated how they mangled the use of the Fremen as a fighting force. They did not need to learn some weirding way - the Fremen, like the Sardaukar, were great warriors because of their harsh upbringing.

I really like Momoa as an actor, but I don’t see him as Duncan. Willing to have him prove me wrong tho!

I am looking forward to this for sure, but yeah if you have not read the books I cannot see how one could understand it. Not a knock as I love these books, but this saga/story is definitely difficult to translate.
