Played for 3 hours today, so far no bugs at all. The game is beautiful and while the 35+ year olds who dumped hundreds of hours into the OG games may be sour cause it’s changed, it’s a great take from what I’ve played so far and I’m excited to see it expand. Eventual mods and campaign creation tools might make this…

I’m not sure getting paid OT to work for 6 to 8 Saturdays at the end of a 7 year project is actually crunch. This isn’t Naughty Dog doing 70 hour weeks for months straight without pay kind of bullshit.

Character models and lighting from 2010 definitely do a good job at slowing down the hype train.

The content is being removed to literally be rebuilt in an updated engine... Activision’s schedule was not conducive for building things correctly, so Destiny 2's base game is a a complete mess and untenable to manage from a development standpoint moving forward.

You’re right I misspoke about Forsaken and SK, I misremembered reading that they were free with games pass last week, not that they were globally free.

I’m in no way defending Bungie’s inability to manage their game, functionally or narratively , but this is no different than any other MMO that does revamps. FF14 blew their game up and made a new one and you had to pay for it. WoW dropped Cata, and a bunch of people were like, ‘but I paid money for OG WoW 5 years…

The content they’re removing is free now, making whether or not you paid for it at launch irrelevant. Shadowkeep and Forsaken will be free now, so congrats, you get new free stuff now.

Living games change, and there is always a small vocal portion of people no longer playing that say, ‘I’ll never come back now cause it’s gunna be different!’. Can’t make everyone happy. Bungie is doing the right thing.

Let’s be honest, bots are an issue, but this is a stock issue mostly. nVidia doesn’t have any cards, but wants to get out in front of AMD. Everyone should just be waiting for the higher VRAM versions that’ll drop next year anyway, you won’t be getting a 3000 till after the holidays so might as well wait for the actual…
