You don’t work in development/are a very bad dev/don’t know what you’re talking about judging by your response here. Commerce companies don’t implement heavy bot restrictions because they actually don’t care how their products sell, as long as they sell, not because it’s some crazy insurmountable problem.

You can have both actually.

Is this a pasta?

That they somehow let a trailor error announce this game for PC only to be like ‘our bad, we don’t actually check anything we put out, sorry sorry’ and say it was a mistake 12 hours later.

I am way more sour on this whole debacle than I should be, but damn if this isn’t disappointing. This is a clown move by Sony and a real bad look.

Man this looks terrible. FF14's setting has always been the worst part of the game and this just looks like a single player spin off with bad acting and boring looking combat. Not to mention it’s just brown... FF16: Brown of Thrones.

Yea, I haven’t been this dehyped since well, 15. I’ve never liked 14's middle ages vibed setting, and this just looks like 14 ‘the single player experience’ with a lot of brown and angst.

I agree on the possibility of a D3, but maybe in the like 2023-2025 range, like you said, way in the future. The big issue for me is that Bungie has shown over and over they don’t have the man power to maintain one game while building another, without both suffering(see Rise of Iron/D2 Vanilla). If they can’t do it

This summary is basically what every content creator/destiny personality whose actually been to/been in contact with Bungie in the past year for either feedback, hype, or anything else has basically said too, so I am inclined think your friend is correct.

I’ve been having a blast with TC and Truthteller in quickplay. As a follow up/grenade spam and melee health regen enabler it’s pretty awesome. Definitely not going to work in trials, but it’s fun for what it is.

I honestly think that everything Bungie is doing right now is in the best interest of the game despite the, ‘but ma base game grind content that’s been free for a year that’s only being temporarily removed’ crowd on reddit and the bungie forums.

Well for some reason they won’t just outright press release that they’re recoding/rebuilding everything to reintroduce in pieces starting probably at the drop of the next expansion holiday 2021 even though they’ve said that’s what they’re doing multiple times in smaller community interactions not aimed at the general

You mean half of the game that’s just useless grind and filler so that it can be rebuilt cause it’s holding the development progress of the game back? So that classes can be rebalanced and fleshed out with more customization, and the mostly trash weapon pool can be downscaled so that individual guns are more

Well they’re rebuilding all the content they are removing, it’s not just about keeping up, it’s about how Activision’s timeline forced them to build jank shit to get box titles and expansions out, making maintaining next to impossible. The fact that the game hasn’t ripped apart at the seams at this point is almost

It’s really not that complicated. One is $200 more and bigger, so it’s better...

This has to be to put them all on sale individually.

The game is grind, that is the point.

I think established is the keyword here. WoW is king still, FF14 is doing its own thing really well with a hugely popular IP, Guild Wars 2 is worth mentioning, and its IP is already long established as well. Every other traditional MMO is niche at best, maybe minus games like ESO and SWTOR(New World isn’t even as good

I got in on one of the betas for this last month and man do I understand why they delayed it till next year. It’s like Amazon thought they could make a suuuper generic 2008 MMO in 2020 and take over the space. Then someone with a big brain was like, ‘What if we make combat like that Dark Souls game but way worse and

God damn that’s an eye sore of a layout, thank you for the old link, I know you guys don’t make these decisions.
