Perfect statement. She is, once again, the best ever.

There are still a few states where abortion is a protected right. They could also go to Canada - closer and cheaper.
If not for the sexist undertones (overtones?), it's better than some of the other pick up lines I've seen from the moral high ground that is Tinder.
This is super annoying and has to change. But let's be honest here, berating the assistant manager of a Target is not going to change anything.
Online dating, like in-person dating, is very hit and miss. I met my boyfriend online (Plenty of Fish), and we're very happy. My sister met her husband online, and my best friend met her boyfriend online. But before those happy relationships, there were a slew of not-so-happy relationships that began online.
Most of the time I see spiders, but I think that's because I'm so severely arachnophobic that I'm preoccupied with them. I haven't noticed any difference in the hallucinations based on times when I'm stressed or not. I think with sleep disorders, they tend to run on their own schedule. However, they do tend to be more…
I didn't say or do any of the things you listed in your little tirade. I don't dismiss her feelings - they're perfectly valid, as I stated clearly. I also specifically answered your second statement - bring it up when it's directly relevant so the topic will not be drowned out by others that are more specifically…
My point is that there is a time and place where the discussion about how WoC are treated and perceived will flourish, and maybe actually accomplish something. In this situation, that conversation is going to be smothered under the more relevant issues of sexism, privacy, harassment, etc.
I understand the value of bringing it up during a high profile event, but I think doing so when it's not inherently a race issue makes it very difficult for the proper discussion to be had. There are so many factors that are a part of this that have nothing to do with race, that the issue is smothered beneath other…
I understand that perspective, but this issue doesn't seem to be about race - or at least not to me. Maybe I'm missing some part of it, but based on what I've seen this issue is effecting a lot of women of all colours and creeds. It's a sexism and harassment issue, to be sure, but I don't see how this, in particular,…
I'm not really sure how they're getting any less support than any of the other victims. Seems like everyone's getting equally screwed in this situation.
I really like Gabrielle Union's statement, and it's all really important to think about and be aware of. But considering this particular hack has affected many women of all ethnicities, it seems like the wrong time to bring it up. It almost takes away from the pain and frustration felt by the victims of this crime…
I used to be able to talk myself out of paralysis as well. I usually just focused on moving one finger, because I knew that if I could move a finger, then I could move everything. At the time I didn't think it was strange because I had no idea what sleep paralysis was. I assumed it happened to everyone.
Sleep disorders are so bizarre. I know the feeling of sleep paralysis - it's extremely unsettling. I thankfully haven't had it much as an adult. Most of it was in my early childhood, age 7 and under. At that point I transitioned to hypnogogic hallucinations, sleep talking and sleep walking.
Yep, same here. Canadians for Hillary!
Ugh, again?! STOP IT STOP IT STOP IT.
What a bizarre reaction (I hesitate to call it overreaction - because that implies a negative reaction was warranted). Why, given the concerns of multiple students and faculty members, wouldn't ol' Bobby McGee even consider changing the team name? And moreover, if their refusal to use the R word is somehow an attack…
Oh fuck this guy and his "sexual thoughts" bullshit. This isn't about someone's sexual thoughts, it's about sexual harassment. Let's be real here, asshole.
So this is probably just a 'me' problem, but I hate, hate, hate mixing food on the plate. Few things are ickier to me that sitting down to turkey dinner and watching someone take a little bit of everything on their fork and eat it all at once.
That's actually a pretty good idea. I like it.
