You just made my day. Nay, my life.
You just made my day. Nay, my life.
Growing up, maturing, becoming a strong, smart young woman.
Honestly, with so many Onion-wannabe sites up nowadays, this might actually help. I know a lot of bright people who have been duped by some of the alt-satire sites lately.
Disgusting. The police force is operating with impunity in Ferguson. It doesn't seem like there are any checks and balances anymore. Who is going to stop THEM from victimizing the people of Ferguson? Why are they allowed to run around town with their guns drawn like fucking commandos in a video game? This is bullshit.
I'm so, so excited for Uzo. It's hard to choose between them because the whole cast does extraordinary work. I would have been happy to see any of the OITNB women take the prize. My favourite characters are Red, Nikki, Pousse and Sophia, so I'm biased toward them, but Uzo broke my heart in so many moments in both the…
It's weird the way they put people in. The only person nominated for supporting actress is Kate Mulgrew (Red), and of course Taylor Schilling for lead actress. All of the others are nominated for guest, including Natasha Lyone and Laverne Cox. I'm guessing they put themselves in those categories so they wouldn't be…
So is it me or did it sound like he meant to say he can't tell people of color apart—"especially at night"?
PMS for me is less bitchy and more super depressed. I feel absolutely miserable and end-of-the-worldy until my period starts. Then I'm cranky because I have cramps.
Man, I liked Andrew Keegan. Why'd you have to tell me this, Jezebel?
A charity in my hometown does superhero rappels to support kids and adults with mental and physical disabilities. It's not mandatory that people dress up, but most of the folks you see rappelling down the buildings are in capes and tights - including people who are otherwise in wheelchairs at all times. It's awesome.
If this shit is going to keep happening, they need to put a law on the books about what age a child has to be before they can play alone outside. That's the only way to make this work, or else more *innocent* parents are going to end up in jail for no reason whatsoever.
Yes! Out after breakfast, home for dinner.
"Six, seven and 8-year-old kids are not equipped to be left unattended, I mean period.
They may not be kissing or holding hands, but I'm willing to bet they're having the freakiest sex imaginable.
This is the best thing I've ever seen in my entire life.
Oi, that's embarrassing.
Oh, shit, yes, I was thinking about graphing calculators too.
I can see buying a 12/13 year old a ghetto phone that can only phone home and 911, but I can't understand giving a kid an iPhone so they can text and play games on it all day. If they want one of those, they can put their own pennies together and pay $400 down and $60 - $160 a month for it like everyone else.
That's insane. When I was in school they had a cache of Scientific Calculators on hand for the rare occasion they were needed. All of the students have to have a regular calculator that could do sin/cos/tan, but aside from that, it was all basics.
It's very sad to me that those who recognize these desires in themselves have such a hard time finding help. The strength and courage it takes to go to a therapist/psychologist is tremendous, and to be treated, essentially, like a criminal, is incredibly unfair. This is a person who has made a choice not to offend,…
