Oprah clarified that it was okay for Matt to say it had been pleasurable, given that the aim and intention of grooming is to make sexual abuse pleasurable for victims so that the relationship becomes confusing for them.

Sometimes things are just two weird, and I assume the customer slipped it in there himself.

If you have a legacy worth remembering, your kids will have very little to do with it.

Eh, if you don't want kids don't have kids, but I don't think "The world sucks" is a great reason not to. If anything, it's a reason TO have children, to teach them strong values and instill a sense of responsibility to actually make a difference. The more motivated, socially minded young people, the better a chance

I know people who have gone to Jillian Michael's workout sessions, and they have amazing things to say about her. She is very tough, but very, very motivating, in a good way. I believe her when she says they just show the tough on the show.

Yuck, that's the worst. It's those unexpected things that really nail you. It's easy to plan around rent/bills, but when you suddenly have a $2000 bill on your plate, it makes it a lot tougher to manage your money.

This from a country that sells used panties in vending machines.

Nailed it.

Can these people all just drink some Kool Aid already so we can get back to living in a sane and normal society?

There are a lot of hard working people who haven't been so lucky.

Seriously, Alberta? I damn near moved to Alberta from Nova Scotia because that's where the jobs are supposed to be.

Same here. I had less debt when I graduated university than I do now. All of my debt has been accrued during long periods of unemployment after getting a degree that was supposed to guarantee me a job.

This is exactly what it is. My two cousins, both recent HS grads, just applied at a golf course. One's on a wait list, and the other has been accepted to college in the fall. The one on the wait list got the job because the manager wanted someone he could keep through the end of the golf season. It makes sense, but it

Recently my two cousins applied for summer jobs at a golf course. Both just graduated, and one has been accepted to school while the other is on a wait list. The employer, who knows the family, said he would hire the one on the wait list but not the one who had been accepted, because he needs someone who is going to

I'm confused. Is the issue here that they bothered to make them look women-shaped? Because I don't see how that's a problem.

At 9 I was definitely able to go play on my own - but, there was always someone at home, or a neighbour who was technically 'watching' me - someone I could go to if I hurt myself, someone who gave me lunch/water/etc.... that's basically what 'babysitting' an older child is. Back-up.

There's something hilariously hypocritical about a vegan threatening to kill someone.

Hey, I'm also from NS! And yes, you're probably right about Alberta. It's such an odd duck nestled between BC and Sask.

Lol, to be fair, it's kind of hard to be grown up when dudebros are asking the teacher what cum tastes like.

I was also more conservative when I was in high school. I was staunchly anti-abortion and was of the ilk that thought LGBT couples could do what they wanted, as long as I didn't have to look at it. I've thankfully grown up and changed my views. I can only hope that similarly minded teens will grow out of it as well.
