More damning than being appointed by Trump is the fact that this judge is also a member of the Federalist society....literally a cabal of lawyers and judges intent on changing laws and judicial precedent to change society to their liking who think the constitution should be taken literally to the point of stupidity.

None, negative delta V is the same no matter if the braking force applied to the wheel is mechanical or electrical. As a 10 year EV driver, I do lots of coasting to stops, so probably LESS tire wear with gentler, longer braking.

A quick search shows that on average, tires in Florida have at least a 20% shorter life span than in other states with cooler or drier climates.
