Oh I do. But not because I give two shits about the story. He’s just nice to look at.

but Waco was known as a place a working-class family could afford to own a home.
I really don’t understand how these two took over an entire TV channel and are now spreading like a zombie fungus to other networks. Did they renovate a house and find a hidden room full of blackmail material on every single TV executive?
I expect the people of Waco are happy. They single-handedly screwed up the affordable housing market there, between direct price increases, home conversions to rental properties, and property tax bills jumping proportionately. Their Silos development has been positive for the city at large but Waco was known as a…
As a gardener myself, I truly lament the loss of any G on HGTV. The gardening aspect was always thin, and relegated to odd showing times, but at least there was something there. Now it’s just about buying and selling properties.
I like how they pivoted from “home renovator reality show” to TV moguls. Genuinely kind of impressive.
The idiots at MAX removed some great shows for this drivel?
“Back to the Frontier” is such a wild idea... except that PBS did it in 2002 with “Frontier House.”
Men need more hats that are not baseball caps. I am fond of Bowler hats myself.
I am so happy this is back but I wish they would put Gladys in something flattering. Those bunched up blouses under her dresses look awful. I know she’s supposed to be demure but everyone else is dressed so beautifully. I assume we’ll be getting a big reveal of her walking down the staircase looking absolutely stunning…
We’re watching this streaming on MAX; has anyone else noticed that this show (both seasons) seems to have a pretty low video quality? We watch lots of other stuff on MAX (e.g. Succession, Doom Patrol) and they look great. I feel like whoever’s doing the encoding/uploading for this show’s video files is using too low a…
I have “Lady” in my title. Of course I like my hat porn. I don't like the super wealthy or Jullian Fellows, but I have a love for period attire so this is my guilty pleasure.
I really wanted to like it, but you’re right. The actor playing Freddie is just terrible. He has no timing, charisma, or tension between how smart he is and his current job. The premise is unbelievable in so many ways. Ughhh.
I didn’t have Disenchanted but disliked Hocus Pocus 2. I can’t say I’m a super fan for the first movie either. It feels like a Disney made for TV movie with a slightly higher budget. But it does it job to be a good family friendly Halloween movie to add to the rotation. HP 2 just felt like sequel no one was asking…
I was wondering when the Oil companies would realise that they can make money on the EV charging demand.
Since when do EVs have insane maintenance costs? I just got the 20k service done on my Polestar and you know what they did? Replace the wiper blades and filled the washer fluid. It cost $0.
Hyde-Pierce came out and the last time I checked Grammar was still supporting the fascist thugs who’d like to strip LGBT+ people of all civil rights. There’s probably some tension in that relationship.
Ah, I liked that guy on Mad Men. Honestly, casting a short softboy as a beer-swilling firefighter would’ve been interesting, and you’d feel a real familial “same but different” vibe between him and Frasier.
The biggest question I’ve had is exactly what you mention: how the hell did Frederick fucking “please stuff me in a locker” Crane become a buff, beer-swilling fireman?
“In the process, the retired TV star winds up getting a new job as a lecturer”.
