Is that weird-ass player supposed to do something?

I feel torn - ever year they waited obviously makes it harder to do anything meaningful with Ford in the role... But then again, had they waited just ONE more year, they w0uld definitely have thought of hiring Ke Huy Quan to bring Shortround back...
I think the action scenes went on too long and the movie took itself too seriously. The “Logan” style of having the hero having lost everything, leave a trail of death wherever he goes and end accepting death didn’t fit for me for the adventure story of Indiana Jones.
I missed the Spielberg camera style throughout…
I enjoyed it. I had to convince the part of my brain that wants to look for “threads to pull on” to stop scanning Ford’s de-aged face for things that didn’t look right, but after I stopped looking for that sort of detail and experienced the story, I enjoyed it. I’m going to go see it again.
And I just watched the ‘Silicon Valley’ episode yesterday where one of the plot points was a gay developer being outed as Christian, because the Valley supposedly hates Christians.....
Christian employees at this point need to quit working and go on welfare.
Keep the drag show and offer these good “Christians” a reading of selected passages from the bible that they can attend instead. Then see how many of them actually show up.
Yeah, I felt the same. If it had ended after season 2, I would’ve had no complaints, but I’m happy to get one more run with the Dogs.
One day, hopefully, people will get together and decide to show them what persecution really is.
fuck that let them quit. They can be replaced. it is a couple of hundred employees.
Assholes. Don’t like drag shows? Then don’t go. I’m sure no one is forcing you to. Meanwhile, you want to cram your religion down everyone else’s throats, though.
Faith based ERG/BRG simply do not belong in the workplace. Not only do these faith based groups heavily index on Christianity (vs any other religion), not all faiths are recognized. You will never see a faith based group for Pastafarian, Jediism, etc.
So here we are with the Christians again being “persecuted” and…
some employees signed a petition saying the event was offensive to their Christian religion.
I actually thought the season 2 ending was pretty perfect and they could have ended the show there. I guess there are some overall loose ends but it was a pretty perfect note. I was surprised (pleasantly) that it was even getting a season 3, so hopefully they go out on a high note (again).
I second the recommendation, and am stoked for the second season. The first was a lot of fun; I think the episode where Luis tries to round up a crew to deliver a beatdown was my favorite of S1.
Never heard of This Fool, but after looking it up I’m very interested. Thanks for mentioning it.
I’m really sad to see Reservation Dogs go, it’s been one of the most thoughtful shows I’ve ever seen.
Agreed.
I’ll be sad to be without this show, but I think they’ve got the right idea. Season 1, they have a goal driven by grief and encounter hardship in working toward it. Season 2, they battle through their personal low points but come together to achieve their goal from season 1. If season 3 is about how they come to terms …
Mmmm is that what really happened though? I understand the point that’s trying to be made here, BUT Hilary campaigning badly is not exactly accurate. The election was stolen PERIOD.
