Either that or if you want to exploit this tactic, the copyright should revert to the creator, or the work should go into the public domain.

Professor, what’s another word for pirate treasure?”

Keeley is definitely older. In season 1 Keeley tells Rebecca “When I was 18 I dated a 23-year-old footballer. Now I’m... almost 30, and I’m still dating a 23-year-old footballer.”

Well Jack turned out to be a total manipulative, dishonest asshole. Jamie is terrific now but I am somewhat creeped out by him having a poster of Keeley on his childhood bedroom wall. It almost feels like Keeley & Roy will end up together by default & I like them together but think I want better for them than that.

Isn’t it ironic that pirates may be our only hope?

At least with torrents there’s a stopgap.

I genuinely thought we were past this. At least with torrents there’s a stopgap. Something like Willow probably isn’t going to disappear for a while. But in 50 years it’ll be like recovering lost Doctor Who episodes on dusty VHS at an estate sale. Someone will find a hard drive with all of Infinity Train on it and the

So you never watch old movies? You never go back to see any classic films or TV shows? MASH? Taxi? The Mary Tyler Moore Show? Fuck it, Lost? The Office? Friends?

Streaming is effectively recreating the world that existed before home video, where you’d come across some show or movie on TV and never be able to see it again. We’re going backwards.

Don’t worry, we’re getting there.

This was definitely intentionally done. Things like lumping everyone in into 1 category are outrageous.

Zaslav has convinced me.

This is the kind of move that may bite them is the ASSetts.

Good, piss off the whole industry so there is more solidarity between everyone. If they all strike the execs have to back down.

Others have said what I wanted to about, basically, why we can’t have nice things here in the US.

I can’t speak for other vehicles, but our Audi Q5 PHEV locks the charging cable to the port when you plug it in. You have to use the key fob to unlock the vehicle before the cable can be removed. Kinda clever.

yes surely no solution could possibly be achieved, let’s just give up and lie in the gutter sucking exhaust until we’re all dead

Here in MD there are laws (I think) about availability of free air hoses to pump up flat tires. The one closest to my apartment was perpetually broken; whenever it got fixed, vandals would take it out again. In some ways we seem to have a broken society.

Half the street chargers around here in CA are busted. Perpetually busted.
