Yep.

Ugh. Certainly not the same thing, and of course Picard having been Borg (and having Borg artifacts in his body), has been explored.

I can’t spend enough of my time trying to get a bank to pay back a fee they wrongly charged me, with barely an apology, or hell, any of the time I spend on the phone with just about any institution when they bill me for things I don’t owe, but when they make a mistake in the opposite direction they still get the win.

I find this story to generally be confusing... Did Regé-Jean Page quit the show, or was his character never going to be part of the next series? They producers say the Duke of Hastings isn’t part of the next books, so they didn’t need him further for the show, and his character will be mentioned (he will be off doing

Reflective of way too many commenters, which is alarming, depressing, and ignorant. I was shocked at the deniers when the first article concerning Ray Fisher’s allegations came out, and continued to be disappointed with every article that came after. Even more so after Charisma Carpenter’s allegations, when she was

The studio took it seriously only in that they covered for their producers, yes they tossed some people, but have never acknowledged the obvious racism and misogyny, instead a continues to deny it, and “says it has “complete confidence in the investigation process,” as well as the conclusions reached by investigator

Incorrect in general, but definitely reflective of some commenters.

Oops! Yeah 2.86+ million deaths. Phew!

You were not alone, and in fact, the actual “cool kids”, were the kids that didn’t care who the popular kids were, and were friendly with everyone.

Looks SO good!

“But is a $15,000 trip to Disney World equally as important to combatting (combating) a pandemic that has killed over 550,000 people in just over a year? No. No, it is not.”

The issue is only that in doing what he asked in the manner in which he did, he created a bigger story and an audience for the photo he didn’t want to be out in public. He basically got the opposite result than the one he wanted because of the manner in which he went about it.

I think you must intentionally be missing my point.... I have NEVER said he HAD to do anything. Nor do I know his pov on the subject. All I am saying is that a different result could have been realized if he CHOSE to do this differently. I am speculating, that IF he had been kinder, and polite, then this might never

He didn’t have to provide an explanation, and she wasn’t required to take the photo down. The point remains that when he asked, he asked in such a way that her feelings were hurt, and it offended her sensibilities, as such she is sharing that hurt in public.

And she owes him nothing, not even taking down the photo. She took it down because he asked her to. The polite response to her doing what he asked would then be, “thank you”. The story is about his being ungracious.

He wasn’t “mean”, but he wasn’t nice either.

I was highlighting that the photo didn’t simply get taken down. Type, Bilson Malek” into google, and this photo is top of search results. He made the photo a bigger thing because of his response to Bilson.

Does one have to have permission to post a photo of oneself and another person, because of the other person in the photo? I don’t think very many people ask every, or any, other person that appears in said photos prior to posting them. It just doesn’t happen. People shouldn’t pose for a photo, outdoors, in public,

Sure, and if he said, “thanks”, once she acquiesced, then she may have had no story to tell. Not saying he had to do that, just thatit might have turned out differently. Maybe not.

I don’t know the sequence of events that instigated Bilson to tell the story, but it is now a story because of the manner in which Malek made the request.
