Or, even more simply; Conan is Japanese, the Avengers are not. Hell, the closest we get to Japan in the Avengers is Renner cutting down beloved Japanese actor Hiroyuki Sanada. Yeah, that’ll be popular to the Japanese; your first Japanese character in these movies gets killed in a sword duel against an American with

As someone who just spent the last week+ being a guide/interpreter for family, I feel that there are distinct problems with tourists not doing their research, but there’s also problems with Japan’s infrastructure being designed for only born and raised Japanese people and being poorly adapted for foreign visitors.

I think the writing in general is still acceptable, but I do feel that the writing regarding Thrall going from “Kill-stealing Deathwing” to “De-powered” has been implemented as well as Paladin Nerfs in WotLK.

Dude, I dunno what they’re talking about. I still see the Toriyama roots in this thing, but if they did a pure Toriyama style adaptation it’d get that weird look all the Trainers have in that Mewtwo Strikes Back remake that’s also coming out. Giving a slightly altered style makes it distinct from the annual Dragonball

I’m gonna go ahead and hope that the new higher up model won’t have exclusive games to that model. Because my current OG Switch works just fine, and I don’t feel like replacing it.

I feel the need to ask, since it didn’t seem to pop up here and I remember a lot of hype for it about two years ago: whatever happened to Necrobarista? Did that get canned?

I am sick of anime, but specifically Japanese anime.

Naturally, the worst choice Brazil has for President picks the worst choice for Sonic games (and among the worst games in general) to champion himself. Next he’ll decide to use visuals from Aliens: Colonial Marines to promote his military.

It’s not fan boy for anything. It’s basic game development corporate structrue. Anything made specifically for the US wasn’t done by Nintendo; but more by Third Party. Other M wasn’t made by an American studio, Team Ninja’s Japanese.

He’s the (outgoing) President of Nintendo of America, which is a branch of a Japanese company. The Japanese execs will make the calls on what gets made and what doesn’t. Reggie doesn’t have any say in what gets made; his job has been to promote the games being made.

Gotta love how the changing market trends against micro transactions, loot boxes and multiplayer only formats are taken out on these 800 people, not the CEO who forced a policy of “exploitable” franchises on the market.

More like they really don’t care?

Honestly, I’m glad they came out and just were point-blank with it: the first buld wasn’t good, so they’re giving to Retro because Retro knows the series like a twin sibling.

Conservative Politicians: Video games cause violence, buy more guns to prevent violence.

This is, sadly, standard Japanese culture. Women in Japan simply are expected to be the subservient and demure home-makers rather than on equal footing with men. I’ve met quite a few Japanese women who have basically taken sexual harassment, assault, being groped and more all because they “didn’t want to cause a

I mean, this seems like a really shortsighted and cynical attempt to appeal to people to solve the declining birth rate problem.

Evangelion should be watched, but honestly, and it’s “Controversial Opinion Time” but Code Geass has a more compelling and more socially relevant narrative than Evangelion.

Is it really ending or are there several tangentially connected spin-off manga to keep the franchise going for another 10 lucrative years capitalizing on trends before they release some new OVA or one-shot epilogue to capitalize on nostalgia?

End of an era man. Sometimes just flipping though some of those guides at Barnes and Noble was pretty cool, even for games I didn’t own and wasn’t playing. They usually had some artwork, sometimes had developer insight. With the internet, their time has passed, but man.

After this crushing defeat, Florida Democrats will very likely be asking themselves exactly what they have to do to win statewide races in one of the most consistently competitive swing states in the country.”
