Yeah, I got the “where did you hear that from” a lot from this person. If I was able to say NPR or whatever, they’d pick on the integrity of the source without ever acknowledging the source of their claims is FAUX News or Facebook. There’s no real interest in learning or listening.

Yeah, I try to have an open mind or at least try to see if there’s a kernel of truth they’ve misunderstood. Assuming they want a fair discussion is my mistake! So I eventually give up because neither of us will convince the other of anything and they count it as a win.
