Glad no one was seriously injured! Your story reminded me of a drunken caper with a wealthy dude in a community near me. He hit a bunch of parked cars then went home and hid. Cops said they couldn’t charge him because they didn’t witness it...though plenty of other people did. 

People who feel the need to be cops or security guards for some reason are sometimes the easiest to bait.
