Then I just give up and they seem to think that’s a win. The same person also employs the effective Talk Louder and Longer Than You style of debate. It’s sooooo annoying.

It hasn’t gotten quite that bad with that particular person but the phrase “I don’t care if it’s a fact, it doesn’t feel true.” came up from a friend of a friend who is an adult man. That really stopped the conversation.

I’ve heard too many people say “if person who ends up dead would have just not broken the law/didn’t mouth off/wasn’t carrying a gun at the place where guns are sold/done the thing shooter wanted they wouldn’t have been hurt.”

I had a boss who said we could get rid of tornados by putting big fans on top of buildings. I thought that guy was an enormous idiot but wow, Drumpf won the race to most stupid.

This used to be a silly escape for me. Seeing athletes and people like Jennifer Gray was fun and harmless. Some of the celebrities were amazingly inspiring. A friend of a friend is on the production staff and they do incredible work that I really look forward to watching. The dancers, hosts, costumers, set designers…

I agree with you...he doesn’t want to be president but could never say that. He’d rather be a living martyr who perpetually holds rallies calling people names. Rallies for what, I’m not sure but he’s good at not paying for them so it’s cheap fun!

I can’t believe I didn’t know any of this beck then. I remember she died of “natural” causes that may have been compounded by drug interactions...but then her husband’s death and black mold and maybe heavy metal poisoning?? It’s just way more shady and awful than I thought!

WTF? Your comment made me go back to what caused her death and wow, her cause of death doesn’t really seem to be resolved. And her husband died of the same causes the next year? Then it was suggested that she was deliberately poisoned? By her mother? Wow, I hope it was actually pneumonia and not all that other…
