Sounds like quite a St. Bonadventure.

If he even makes it to confirmation hearings. I wouldn’t be surprised if he “respectfully declines” the nomination after this weekend (read: Trump threatens him until he bows out).

Fun fact: Foo Fighters recorded a cover of “Darling Nikki”! They captured the guitar tone surprisingly well.

I’m sure at least one of the Jezebel staff will find something wrong with it.

It’s coauthored by both parents. That apostrophe is correct. Plural possessive brah.

Sigh.

Anna, you’re gonna need to start a “Bigly Time, Big Time Dicks” column.

This is where the libertarian-leaning branch of the Republican party needs to speak up. Civil forfeiture is probably the closest thing we could legally get to “the government is gonna take all my guns!”

Civil forfeiture is fucked up, y’all.

No, because not many dudes involved in sex trafficking are dumb enough to try to get legal guardianship over 6+ unrelated female minors, because it’d look sleazy as hell.

Can’t wait to see pix of how he parks it.

Looks like the Trump administration has found a new Labor Department staffer.

There’s something seriously wrong with whichever state agency approved this dude’s guardianship applications. If these were girls the cops would be all the fuck over this as a potential sex trafficking situation.

In case you want to know more about the character of this coach, the article notes he drives a white BMW.

Not necessarily. I live in the area and sheds and buildings like this are literally EVERYWHERE. I have two on my property, my brother has one, and my mom has five (she’s on a hundred acres though). I have driven by this building so many times and had no idea what it was and a lot of people I know who have discussed

In my county, back in the dark days of the late ‘90's, there was a thing called “Teen Court.” Underage jabrones who got caught doing dumb, non-violent stuff could choose regular family court or Teen Court, which was run entirely by teenagers (but supervised by a judge).

Id really like if more of the juvenile justice system were things like this. Throwing kids into detention centers rarely makes them into better citizens (surprise surprise); Id much rather see a focus on service and education that helps tie kids into the community.

Yeah, that’s bullshit. They wouldn’t have done precisely that kind of vandalism if they didn’t have an inkling of its importance. That said, I think the sentence is perfect.

I support this judge’s decision.
